The whole school celebrated Carnival Party.

To celebrate this popular festival, the whole school dressed up as different movies. Cinema plays a prominent role this school year, so it was decided to work on this topic throughout the school.

The 3-year-old class dressed up as Frozen, the 4-year-olds dressed up as Snow White and the 9 Dwarfs, the 5-year-olds dressed up as The Little Mermaid, the first-year dressed up as Fantastic Beasts, the second-year dressed up as 101 Dalmatians, the third-year dressed up as Harry Potter, the fourth-year dressed up as Mario Bros, the fifth-year dressed up as Toy Story, and the sixth-year dressed up as a mashup of movies.

We dressed up, had a parade through the street, and held several performances inside the school.

First, we voted on the movie we wanted to see (there were six different movies showed at different rooms: Gym, Music room…). We were given a ticket to see the movie we had chosen.

After watching the movie, all the classes had playground time. After recess, we had a parade. The whole school went through the town streets, and fourth and fifth grades were cheering us on with the batucada (percussion music all along the way). The whole town also watched us and really enjoyed our parade. When we returned from the parade, the whole school did several dances and performances, such as 6thgrade circus.
